- REGIONAL
The southern region includes 8 LGAs with vastly different settings and urban environments, stretching south from Shoalhaven to Bega Valley, and westward to the Snowy Mountains and Valleys.
This networking event in Cooma will provide the opportunity for a face-to-face meeting with your fellow regional planners and with PIA's NSW President, Sue Weatherley.
Attendees will get together over a casual lunch followed by an informal afternoon meeting. A number of planners who work with Southern region councils, or in the private sector, will present short "snapshots" of their most intriguing projects. The session will allow plenty of time for discussion and information sharing between attendees.
Sue Weatherley will also provide an update on the work of PIA to promote the profession of urban planning, and its contributions towards the policy iniatives of governments.
The event will facilitate discourse between ACG次元网 practitioners of the Southern region who generally have little interaction with each other. The proposed format is the outcome of suggestions made to the Southern region convenor and Life Fellow Claire Middleton (MPIA), we look forward to your participation and contributions.
