We are thrilled to invite you to the 2024 NSW State Conference, taking place in Wollongong from 18 to 20 September 2024 at Novotel Wollongong Northbeach!

This year's conference theme is "Transformation," focusing on how planners play a pivotal role in transforming towns, regions, and communities. From early social reforms of the 19th Century to the environmental reforms of the 21st Century, planners lead change for the benefit of all, ensuring no one is left behind.
The 2024 NSW State PIA Conference will delve into the aspects of transformation, exploring sub-themes like adaptability, diversification, and negotiation. We will also examine how this transformation impacts our youngest Australians and our First Nation's People.
Wollongong, situated on Dharawal Country, provides a fitting backdrop to explore these themes, with its rich history of transformation from early settlers to a modern, vibrant city.
